Setting micro-goals can be difficult because if we do the wrong activities, we get the wrong results. When you are setting micro-goals and waiting to see the results, it is slightly nerve-wracking.

When we use micro-goals, we use daily and weekly reviews to change them as needed depending on the results. While the long-term goals might be hard to see results from, there are results from each small step you take that show whether you are moving forward or not.

For example, if my goal is to do a certain number of sales calls each day, a 0 sales day is not a reason to change my goal. But, if I keep talking to people and cannot even get a positive conversation than I need to review my process and possibly the micro-goal.

What micro-goals are you stretching for this week and what does success look like in the daily activities?
